Log Cabin Lovely

This top was given to me by Peg. It takes the full photo to really appreciate the design of the piece.

Peg chose the last of my yellow cuddle for a backing and it worked perfectly. The panto is called Pretty Posies. This quilt is a grad gift for a granddaughter. I'm sure it will be well received.

My grass is starting to green up and if you look close there are some green leaves emerging in our front flower bed! I was ever so excited to see that yesterday! Winter has been going on for 400 years this season and I was starting to get worried we were never going to get to the other side. I love living in northern Manitoba - usually! Talk to me in 3 weeks when we are cooking a smokie over our campfire and I may be in better spirits!

Darby always sees the good in the world. Every morning she chases rainbows in our house from the sun rays shining through the crystal glass in the door. We have been in our house for 9 years and not until Darby came along did I notice the rainbows on our floor every morning.

She was very pleased to pick me a flower yesterday ....
