I had alot of fun making up this scrappy quilt.
I took part in a quilt along (QAL) through Instagram. This project fit well with my 2020 fabric diet. #sewyourdamnstash
Quilty Love, Emily Dennis designed the pattern and hosted the QAL. You can check out her site here Quilty Love.
The quilt followed a loose schedule over four weeks to keep you on task ... week 1, pick the fabrics. Week 2, make the half square triangles. Weeks 3 & 4, construct the blocks, quilt and bind. The blocks went together quite quickly. This was a great use of scraps. I'm happy to say I did not purchase one thing to make this quilt!
Casey really likes the quilt as well!
I used a newer panto called Silver and backed with my favorite light pink cuddle backing. I never tire of So Fine thread in 401.
The hearts call for 3.5" squares. I had fun digging through my stash and fussy cutting some sweet fabrics I as holding onto. I swear, I have enough pinks to make three more of these quilts! I decided to use the lightest pinks I have.
Saturday night binding ....
