More Foxes!

This is Rae's Fancy Foxes quilt ... we both started this quilt at a retreat in Swan River last year. Don't let these little guys fool you ... those sweet little fox faces take time to build!

Rae used a dark linen background for her modern faces. We chose a cinnamon So Fine thread for the top and it blends perfectly.

Rae used a nice wide backing for the quilt - a creamy tan Northcot with lots of movement. The panto we chose is a new one I just got in called Mahogany ... it mimics a wood grain look. Fitting for this skulk of foxes.

Thanks for letting me have fun with your quilt Rae!

I feel like my quilt photography skills are improving .... they say the more you do the better you get. My poor summer is slipping away as I only have two weeks left before I go back to work. I have been teaching a nursing program for the past year and this was the first summer I had off since I was probably 8 years old. This quilt of Rae's has me dreaming of fall!
