Julie asked me to quilt 3 tops for her and I couldn't have been happier to do it ..... I love Julie and her funky, colorful, modern taste.

This first quilt is a quarter sections pattern made with Tula Pink fabric, Holiday Homies. I quilted it with the holiday lights panto and used a black glide thread. It was fun. Julie will be cozy at her cabin this Christmas.

The second guy was made with a modern 'Free Spirit' line. Julie trusted me to pick a backing that I stock and I think the quilt turned out just great!

Julie loves color and I knew she would love this coral cuddle fabric. I used the coil panto and a whisper pink glide thread on top and bottom. There is so much going on the top that I didn't want an overly fussy panto to compete. I think this is a real winner. (Julie said this was going to be a gift but I suspect she may end up keeping it for herself!)

Julie's third quilt is made with linen and cotton + steel fabric. It is very chic! I picked a pale pink cuddle for a backing and used a new king tut thread called baby shower. It is a lightly verigated thread in pink and blue. It turned our really pretty. The panto is wave on wave.

Until next time! Happy quilting ....
